Of what are you a connoisseur?

Posted on Oct 2nd, 2008 by scribe sky : Hemet Neter scribe sky
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 01, 2008:

I'm a connoisseur of tea, mind-manipulation discernment (Roberts Wilson & Shea might call that "Chapel Perilous"), and the perception of...space (inside & out) ...

How did you start on your spiritual path?

Posted on Oct 16th, 2008 by scribe sky : Hemet Neter scribe sky
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 15, 2008:

I think coming out of the woods where it's silent except for the sounds of nature (fall leaves, babbling brook, etc) makes one reflective. There were no immediate neighbors and my siblings were much older and at school; so, I was with myself (well, and my imaginary friend). One's mind expands so in such a space. One feels vast and connected. That kind of experience probably led to my early childhood contemplations about being in a shell of flesh. It seemed so limited and unnatural and...odd.  But, yeah, who are ya gonna tell that to, the other 5 year olds? Ah, but it's cool; I just had to walk my path and they theirs.

Rupert the Micro-Deer

Posted on Oct 21st, 2008 by scribe sky : Hemet Neter scribe sky
Ok, I had to share this in case you hadn't seen it. The Mayan Code folks posted it (see the story at their site). This is Rupert delivered by cesarean after his mom was hit by a car and fatally wounded:

That I haven't quite decided where my physical "home base" should be yet.

Do you know your purpose in life?

Posted on Oct 23rd, 2008 by scribe sky : Hemet Neter scribe sky
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 23, 2008:

Transformation, evolution, teaching, learning...to end where I began where I ended where I began...and carry whomever wants to go along for the ride. Multi-faceted creation wisdom can address everyone's specific paths on what is limitedly perceived as a single trip...

Do you give yourself enough time?

Posted on Oct 28th, 2008 by scribe sky : Hemet Neter scribe sky
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 28, 2008:

I try to. I don't like the mad rush that some others do...busy all the time, on the cell phone, racing here and there, etc. I don't want to live like I'm on the stock-market floor.

So, if I feel like things are getting unruly, I'll stop everything (for an hour or a day) and just "be." I burn a lot of mental energy so I sometimes need an insanity break (or is that sanity?). I'll draw a mandala, write some poetry, read a book. One of the reasons that I love public transportation is that it gives you time to kick back before the typical daily grind: watching the clouds go by, pondering rippling water of rivers near train depots, taking a snooze, etc.

Happy HallowEEEEEEn!!!

Posted on Oct 30th, 2008 by scribe sky : Hemet Neter scribe sky
I'm usually more goddess-like with the Holy Wheel of the Year; but I've pitched a tent in Camp Whimsy right now 'cuz I got them mid-term grades done - whoo-Hoooooo!!!

I'd like to say that I'm the first to spin the camp's whimsy wheel, but network tv has beat me to it by showing Rocky Horror tonight. I always loved Tim Curry's deliciously wicked laugh.

Ah, the memories of watching midnight theatrics in bras, briefs, garters and corsets (of course, the only garments applying to women were the bras)...
