This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 05, 2008:
I've been missing fresh air in the daylight! I had so much mundane work to do inside. But today was great because it's a beautiful, windy March day and I went to Annapolis to for the governor's Global Warming Solutions Act rally. Finally, the sun on my skin (and for a good cause)!
golden rays

Huzzah!
Ahh yes, the sun, I seem to vaguely recollect something about that…
I know! the freakin' windows don't open in the white-collar prisons (I'd say that they're afraid someone might try to fly; but, they're just afraid of energy waste…like they already don't).
I concur. I work in a “clean-room” environment. It's ironic that I suffer more from allergies in there than when outside on my 2 daily breaks. Really, this is a class 10,000 clean room with 100% temperature/humidity, flourescent lit and positive air-flow wafer probe testing fascility and I'm constantly sniffing and sneezing. Probably due to the cleaning agents used for the bunny suits. I relish the outdoors whenever possible.
