What does Autumn mean to you?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 23, 2008:

It's the harvest! A ripe Earth Mother about to take a long nap, but all the while, she is working to germinate new growth to emerge in the spring.

So now, nature is cooling (as it does before we get sleepy), before we move from the current configuration into the formlessness of the long nights, to be re-energized before another new beginning...and the cycle continues...

It does look like the same meadow. Hey —- Pat (from the grove) was in a drumming program with me at Cybele's (in MI) taught by Layne Redmond & Tommy Brunjes. I bought a doumbek from her. Small World!
